Errors Explained
Common Erros not related to DSTV
No Signal – DSTV decoder in standby mode or TV source not correct(AV, HDMI etc)
TV plays sound no picture – TV faulty (Backlights or display panel faulty)
Decoder and TV on with no picture – Cable connection to TV might be faulty.
Some errors can be fixed by troubleshooting TV or decoder – vist TV manufacture website or http://www.dstv.com
DSTV Error Codes
A floating block will display on the TV and usually display an error code.E48-32 There is no signal from the dish, this might either be due to bad weather, a faulty cable connetion or worn or broken cable, a faulty LNB or your dish might need re-alignment.
E32-4 Usually after a reboot or power failure, this errors usually clears within a few minutes as decoder is only validating smartcard and subscription.
E143-0 Extra view setup is faulty
